The proper use of anti-depressants can be life-saving

Did you know despite all the fancy commercials and statements from health professionals about the benefits of anti-depressants, many experts who remain open minded realize the true potential dangers of these powerful drugs.

According to the Los Angeles Times:

“… The intima-media thickness of mens arteries taking antidepressants was 37 microns (about 5 percent) thicker than that of men not taking the drugs. When the team looked at 59 twin pairs in which one twin was taking the drugs and the second was not, the artery was 41 microns thicker in the twin taking the drugs.”

Other side effects include brittle bones, compromised immune system, heart attacks and strokes and sexual side effects to name just a few.  Click Here for a detailed list of more side effects.

I must say that in certain cases the proper use of anti-depressants can be life saving but far too many people are taking these strong medicines simply because they are “stressed out” and many doctors are passing out prescriptions far too readily before looking into safer options first.

One option that I am thrilled to let you know about is Dr Jennings, an international recognized psychiatrist that has an amazing knowledge of how to treat chronic severe depression without drugs!  Dr Jennings utilizes a combination of an FDA approved magnetic stimulation and the intelligent use of the correct nutritional therapy with amazing results.  I was invited to observe two patients being treated by Dr Jennings that both had long term serious depression and had run out of options because the drugs side effects were simply overwhelming.  Both patients expressed their deep gratitude for the therapy that Dr Jennings offered because they were able to live their lives without drugs and function better than they had in years.
