In the Chattanooga area, the number one cause of cancer death is lung cancer, but lung screening is a great way to see if you’re at risk!
CHI Memorial will be at the gravel parking lot behind Nutrition World on November 10 from 11AM – 5 PM offering lung screenings!
You may qualify for a free screening or self-pay is $150.

CHI Memorial Lung Cancer Screening Criteria Insurance Guidelines:
- Age 50-80 years old (Medicare patients 50-77 years old)
- Current cigarette smoker or have quit within the past 15 years
- Have > 20 pack year history (1 pack per day for 20 years, 2 packs per day for 10 years, etc)
- Asymptomatic (no signs/symptoms of lung cancer)
- Patient has not had a chest CT in the last 12 months
- Grant Guidelines (uninsured):
- Age 50-80 years old
- Current cigarette smoker or have quit within the past 15 years
- Have > 20 pack year history (1 pack per day for 20 years, 2 packs per day for 10 years, etc)
PLUS have an additional risk factor:
- Second hand smoke exposure
- Asbestos exposure
- Radon exposure
- COPD
- Pulmonary fibrosis
- Family history of lung cancer
- Asymptomatic (no signs/symptoms of lung cancer)
- Patient has not had a chest CT in the last 12 months
