This is a legitimate question, but we think the more important part of the equation is simply getting enough fiber on a daily basis. Depending on your eating habits, you might not be getting adequate amounts of fiber in your diet. At first glance, it might not seem like that big of a deal, but fiber serves an important part of keeping our colon clean and healthy. Fiber is indigestible food matter that helps to, well, there’s not really a nice way to say this, push out the toxic material that resides in our guts. High fiber diets may also reduce the risk of obesity, diabetes, and heart disease.
